We have been studying Mexico this week. My husband had a great idea for a field trip: Mexican restaurant!! So today we all went to lunch at a Mexican restaurant and the picture I chose for today was Cian eating chips and cheese dip. He had his Mexico soccer jersey on so he looked pretty adorable. #8 of 365: Making Room For Baby

I called in a substitute teacher today. Okay, actually, I just asked my husband if he would be the sub today. I spent the day on a huge project: flipping closets and moving all Ellie's stuff to Zoe's room. This was on my huge list of "To Do" items for over break and/or before the baby arrives. Here is a look at the nursery closet that used to be full of all Ellie's stuff.

#7 of 365: Snow Watcher

Ellie has been obsessed with wanting to go outside in the snow, but it has just been too cold. She keeps going to the window and saying, "Get my snowsuit!" Today, she couldn't figure out why Daddy got to go outside! We hired a friend and his dad to help us shovel out the driveway. It was just too much for Brian to do alone and we don't want him to end up back at the chiropractor again. Here is Miss Ellie looking longingly at "The Daddies" as she kept calling them and wondering why they get to be outside ;-)

#5 of 365: Snowsuit

I forgot to get my mail yesterday before all the snow we were expected to get. I decided to let Grace go out and get it at 8 a.m. for me before it really started to come down. Here is what she had to put on to get it:

We met friends at the McDonald's for lunch and the kids (of course) loved the playland area. My pic for today is Ellison on the huge pogo stick. Grace was a great helper and took her on this and the big slide!
