Chicka Chicka A to Z!

Ellie finished 3-year-old preschool on Friday! Her last thing to do was add our last letter to her Chicka Chicka Boom Boom tree:
We saved "Z" for the last week to conclude with a field trip to the zoo!

Here it is all completed:

Last Day of PreK/K 2014-2015 Pictures

Zoe and Ellie finished a week earlier than Grace and Cian this year, their last day was yesterday. I have already planned some cute things for next Friday when Grace and Cian are also done, but then I saw something cool a friend of mine did and decided to "borrow" the idea. ;-) Thanks, Kristi!

She had taken pictures of her girls on the first day of school also, but then for the last day of school pictures, she put them back into those same outfits from the day 1 pictures. I thought the idea was adorable, but thought I wouldn't be able to find those same outfits for all 5 of mine and Fionn's would be multiple sizes too small. Plus, I also didn't think the other would have changed enough that it'd really be worth doing. Then, last night, the oldest three had their piano recital. Searching for a dress for warmer weather, by a fluke the dress I grabbed out of the (STILL) folded away spring and summer clothes for Zoe was the 1st day dress!
AND. IT. WAS. SO. SMALL. ON. HER.
I couldn't believe it! I know she has grown this year, but I couldn't believe how much!!!!

So, since Zoe and Ellie are done with school, I decided to put those two back in their 1st day dresses and re-photo them the with same sign for last day. Here they are:

Can you believe how much she has grown this school year!?! Look at the dress below then above her knees!

And here is Ellie's:

You can tell Ellie has grown too as there is only a little leg at the bottom, then it looks like a normal length dress in the second picture.

Such a neat keepsake to have, seeing those side-by-side. Thanks, Kristi for posting and sharing your cute idea!
