#49 of 365: Toddler Techie

Yesterday Ellie was hitting the keys on the computer keyboard and when I asked her to stop, she said, "Mommy, I'm texting!" I was laughing and trying to figure out if she heard it from me?
Then, this morning, she had her leaptop out and it was "texting" and "blogging", lol.

Today's special treat- freezing rain.... Blah!

#47 of 365: Baby Shower

I was so "tickled pink" (get it because I'm carrying a girl!) that two dear friends decided to throw me a baby shower! It was SO amazing and SO much fun! I cannot begin to describe all the gorgeous decorations they did, and the cake, and the diaper cakes, and my sweet friends who came to shower me, and I could go on forever!! I will do a blog post with pictures once I get them, but for Sunday's picture I picked one of these adorable Hershey Kisses that says, "It's a Girl!"

#46 of 365: The Valentines

The kids missed their Valentine's Day party due to bad weather and they were just crushed!
A couple great friends agreed to have their kids make my kids bags so they could still get their valentines. I picked them up yesterday and they were into them for HOURS!

Then when Zoe woke up this morning she and Ellie got them back out and were going through them AGAIN! She loves to ask me who each one is from.

Ellie was most excited that some were candy!!

#44 of 365: Babies and Brains

I ordered some $1 books from a Scholastic sale. Most of the books ended up being for Cian and Zoe. Grace got one or two and I got 3 for homeschooling. Needless to say, Ellie was NOT happy that she didn't get any books. SO... I had to pretend the teaching/homeschool books were for HER.
When Daddy got home, she insisted he read HER NEW BOOK... about the brain...

#43 of 365: Off to Nanny's

The oldest three had a play we attended this morning about an hour away, so I asked them to pack their school bags for carschooling. Ellie, not to be left out, insisted she pack her schoolbag even though she was just going to play at Nanny's during the play. Here she is with her backpack full of toys and lovies:
